The objective of the book, THE TOP BOOK is to bring together the elements of Totally Optimized Projects and show how they relate to each other to cumulatively change the project delivery game for the better.

For those interested in the detail, THE TOP BOOK also spells out the underlying principles and models that TOP™ brings to the market. More information is available in various other documents, training videos and other materials available.

An introduction to THE PROMISE (an excerpt from the ‘naked’ and summary versions)

Current approaches to projects are too complex, too costly and deliver too little value. What does this mean to senior management, at arm's reach from the actual projects and more interested in results than specifics? It means that the projects you are ultimately responsible for routinely miss, lose or destroy more value than they deliver – meaning you lose more than 50% of the available value on most projects. But while this degree of value loss is both astounding and appalling, it also means that dramatic improvement is quite possible.

The problem has not been addressed to date simply because there has been no alternative to the traditional, ineffective way of doing things. Now there is – Totally Optimized Projects™ (TOP™); a business value-based approach to projects that can be easily used to lead, direct and govern projects successfully.
